"Cut" Paper collage is an old process which is based upon adding layers, but it takes on new life in the 21st century as artists dig, cut, slash and then refigure paper-based art into new and original artwork. Incursions into the material allow an opening out and rebuilding process to express the cycle of destruction / creation which defines this art.
Artists who are cutting and refiguring paper into new and original artwork are invited to submit samples of their work to be considered for the exhibition "CUT". Deadline for submission is December 2010.
Exhibition Dates: June 5 - August 7, 2011
