Youth Art Parties at the Evanston Art Center
Make your next special event an art-filled party! EAC offers unique, art-themed parties and events for children and adults.
Youth Art Parties
Size: Reservations include one room with a capacity of 15 people (including both children + adults). There is an additional rental fee of $150 (per room) to book more than one room at the Evanston Art Center.
Age: While younger siblings are welcome to join, children should be age 5 and older with no more than 13 children participating in the art activity.
The EAC provides space, art supplies, an instructor, and a teaching assistant.
Caregiver/parents provide food, drink, plates, forks, birthday cake, birthday candles, etc. EAC will provide a table for the food and drink in the same classroom.
Party Times: Youth art parties are held on Saturday or Sunday at 1pm or 1:30pm. All parties include facility use for 1.5 hours for regular parties (mixed media, painting, collage, etc), and 2 hours for ceramic art parties with 15 minutes before and after for set-up and clean-up. Important note: Please allow 1-2 weeks for all ceramic projects to be fired in the kiln. Party hosts will receive an email or call notification when all projects are wrapped, labeled, and ready for pick-up. Party hosts must pick-up all projects within 2 weeks of receiving this notification and are responsible for distributing projects to guests.
Prices:
Regular Art Party: $325 + $100 refundable deposit
Ceramics Art Party: $375 + $100 refundable deposit
Payment: The first payment may be made with a credit card, cash, or check (payable to the Evanston Art Center, with a memo of "Art Party" and the party date). The Evanston Art Center accepts credit cards over the phone and in person. The final payment must be made by credit card.
Deposit: A $100 refundable deposit + 50% of the total is required to hold the date for all youth art parties.
If all terms of the contract are met, the $100 refundable deposit is applied to the final balance. Under certain circumstances, the $100 deposit will not be returned (i.e., more than 15 people in attendance, additional rooms or spaces used, damages to the facility, or damages to the artwork on display).

Step 2: Select your art project, return your signed contract, and pay a deposit to lock in the date.
Step 3: Correspond with EAC staff to confirm the party details.
Step 4: Show up for your Art Party!
