Xavier, one of our EAC Interns, writes about Jordan Scott's newest exhibition, Vortex Series, on display in our Second Floor Gallery from September 28 - November 3, 2019:
When walking into the Art Center, I was amazed by all the vibrant paintings on the walls. When I began to study the paintings, I noticed that they are made from postage stamps. The artist Jordan Scott reuses materials that are not usually used for art. He uses the material as inspiration and often thinks about where it comes from, who used it and what made it important.
