Over the past 15 years, many of Dan’s works have been inspired by four special models he considers his muses: John, Anthony, Jacob, and Mykoal. This exhibition is dedicated to them and features portrait and figurative works of each of them. The works in the exhibition will consist of acrylic and watercolor works.
Dan Simoneau has been painting professionally for over 45 years. His work has been exhibited in over 150 regional, national, and international exhibitions and he has received over 70 awards for his work, including several Best in Show awards. His work has also been published in 20 national and international publications. He is a signature member of the Allied Artists of America, the American Watercolor Society, the International Guild of Realism, the International Society of Experimental Artists, the International Society of Acrylic Painters (Master Status), the National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic, and the National Watercolor Society. His work is in many private, corporate, and museum collections. He has also juried several local, regional, and national exhibitions. His primary media are acrylic on both paper and canvas, as well as, watercolor. He is considered a contemporary realist.

This exhibition will be held in the Second Floor Atruim Gallery of the Evanston Art Center (EAC). Masks are optional but strongly recommended for students, visitors and staff.
