Each year, the Evanston Art Center celebrates its summer youth art camps with an exhibition of student work. It is a unique privilege for us to highlight our young artists and to honor their hard work. Exposing children to contemporary art-making strategies is one of the most important services we provide to the region. We hope that you will stop in to see what they have made.
Participating art camps include: Ages 4-5 Introductory Visual Art Camps, Ages 6-8 Multi-Art Camps, Ages 9-11 Studios, and Ages 12-14 Studios. Summer youth art disciplines included painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, architecture, math and art, toy making, comics, gaming, film-making, digital photo, collage/assemblage, and fashion. Not all student work will be on view as some students elected to take work home and certain logistical issues prevented every single artwork to be exhibited.
We look forward to seeing you in the galleries!
