Other interests and inspirations:
Duffy studied history and foreign language as much as he studied art when he was in college. History and language inform his artistic and teaching practices and when he reads, he often chooses to read history.
Duffy's teaching style:
He teaches with the assumption that his students are capable of achieving success in drawing and printmaking. The challenge that he happily takes on is searching for the ways to make that success happen.
Duffy loves EAC because . . .
He enjoys the enthusiasm for learning that the students bring to the classes he teaches. He meets such a wonderful and diverse group of people and his life is richer because of it.
