Course Description:
In this workshop you will experiment with a variety of techniques used to create mono prints on a Gelli plate. A Gelli Plate is a synthetic, gelatin like printing plate that simplifies and enhances the mono printing process. On the first day we will use, found objects, stamps (both commercial and ones we make), and many more texture tools. Acrylic paints and variety of papers will be used in throughout the workshop. The second day will be all about building more layers, and complexity of your prints. As well as time to use the prints to create a book, collage fodder, pages of a book, stand alone prints.
