Course Description:
Looking in the moment, mixing colors, and capturing a likeness is the emphasis of this portrait class which will be utilizing a live model. You will be shown how to stretch a canvas and complete an oil painting. We will briefly look at historical portrait painting to see how artists have approached this wonderful genre.

Except for the Independent Study Program, EAC membership is no longer required to take adult classes. EAC members receive a tuition discount on all adult classes, youth classes and workshops.
