Course Description:

You will learn a form of printmaking that began in China with the Song Dynasty (960–1279 AD) and Andy Warhol modernized and celebrated in his iconic images of Marilyn Monroe 800 years later. Using a mix of techniques and tools, analog and/or digital, you will produce screen stencils and play with imagery, colors, and layers. Maybe you’ll want to create vibrant posters or personalize thrifted clothing. With your own drawings or edited photographs, you’ll make projects meaningful to you.
