Happy 150th birthday to Evanston! We had over one hundred guests come by to celebrate the occasion, on Saturday the 27th. Elaine Kemna-Irish, Executive Director of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce, juried the art installation.
CUT will be on view from June 5 to August 7 2011 and is curated by Eleanor Spiess-Ferris and Beth Hart. Artists include: Jesse Harrod, Doug Stapleton, Ling-An Fang, Richard Shipps, Mark Rospenda, Bruce Kresnoff, Helene Smith Romer, Christophe Roberts, Susan Giles, Shawn Sheehy, Jang Soon Im, Brian Dettmer and Sarah Steinwachs.

Mary Dritschel>In Retrospect was on view from February 28 to April 4 2010. This retrospective of Dritschel's work presents her life long exploration of identity and strength of women, and combines it with her dynamic investigations into new ways to communicate her discoveries and observations about the dynamic and changing world in which we live.
Through the Looking Glass curated by Nick Cave, Barbara Crane, Richard Hull, Terry Karpowicz, Buzz Spector and Anne Wilson and organized by Norah Diedrich was on view from September 26 to November 7 2010 and included works by the following artists: Sebastian Aguirre, Tanya Fleisher, Jonathan Gardner, Cheryl Pope, Nozomi Rose and Cristina Silvestri.
Physiotasmagorical curated by Susan Sensemenn was on view from February 20 to April 17 2011 and included works by the following artists: Carolynn Desch, Christa Doner, LJ Douglas, Annie Heckman, Alison Hiltner, Barbara F Kendrick, Paul Nudd, Lindsay Obermeyer, and Susan Smith Trees.
